We store your data completely encrypted - we can't see anything. It's encrypted 2 times before it hits our database, and then encrypted again at rest.
By default, all data is Geo-sync'd. So if you're in USA, all data is stored in USA, if you're in the UK, all data is stored in UK, if you're in Australia it's stored in Australia...and so forth.
It goes into the recipients storage page in perpetuity.
